PGA Northern Ohio Section The Northern Ohio Section is one of 41 Sections that comprise the PGA of America.

The geographical location of the Section is bounded on the north by the northern boundary of the State of Ohio; the east by the eastern boundary of the State of Ohio; the south by an imaginary line drawn between the cities of Martins Ferry, Ohio and Union City, Indiana.

The purpose of the Section is to promote the enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf within the Section,and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry within our Section.

Toledo Junior Golf Association The Toledo Junior Golf Association was established in 1973 as a non-profit organization to give junior golfers an opportunity to gain tournament experience in a competitive playing environment.

 

Southern Ohio Junior Golf Association The SOPGA Junior Tour was founded in 2008. The Tour offers a superior junior golf experience. Our goal is to help develop younger golfers as well as provide outstanding competitions on a local level. In addition, this program strives to foster sportsmanship and integrity among its members. The Southern Ohio PGA Junior Tours are open to all junior amateurs who live in the state of Ohio from the ages of 7-18. If a junior does not live in Ohio he or she is required to submit proof or active enrollment in an Ohio school. Applications will be open to juniors who have not reached their 19th birthday or started their freshman year of college by midnight on the last day of the final 2011 event, July 29, 2011. All juniors must pass the USGA Rules of Golf exam in order to become eligible to participate.  Check the specific requirements of both the SOPGA Junior Tour and the SOPGA Futures Tour to determine which Tour you are eligible to play.
