The U.S. Kids Golf Copperhead Classic is played at The Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. Boys and girls, ages 6 to 14 will compete for individual honors. A player’s age on December 31, 2011 will determine his/her age bracket for the event. The tournament will consist of two tournament round. Players have the option of playing a practice round on the day before the tournament. Competition will be stroke play and all U.S.G.A. and U.S. Kids Golf Local rules will apply.

Players have the option of playing a practice round the day before the first round of the tournament. Competition will be stroke play and all U.S.G.A. and U.S. Kids Golf Local rules will apply.

USKIDS*Parents with multiple children can take advantage of the U.S. Kids Golf sibling policy where a sibling of a qualified player can be permitted to play in the tournament as long as they have met the scoring requirement.

* Golfers between the ages of 6 to 14 play in age appropriate, gender specific groups.

U.S. Kids Golf World & Regional Championship Qualification

Player of the Year honorees who have participated in at least 4 events in that Local Tour (which can include the Local Tour Championship) and who meet the below scoring requirement in at least one of that Local Tour’s events will receive an invitation to compete in the following year’s U.S. Kids Golf World or Teen World Championship.

Players finishing in the top three (and ties) in total season points in each age and gender group who have participated in at least 4 events from that Local Tour and who meet the below scoring requirement in at least one of that Local Tour’s events will receive an invitation to all Regional Championships for the period of one year if the player is still age eligible*.

*Participation is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. An invitation does not guarantee a spot in the tournament. Entries may be terminated at any time. The Local Tour season must be complete prior to registration opening to be eligible for a regional championship. If a Regional Championship’s invitations have already been sent prior to the completion of your tour’s season, you will be invited to the following year’s event.
