Texas Junior Golf Tour

This year the Texas Junior Golf Tour will host 70+ events all over the state of Texas and you must be a member of the tour in order to register for the TJGT tournaments online. Players from across the US as well as various other countries such as (but not limited to) Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Canada and Korea participate each year. The Texas Junior Golf Tour is a premier junior golf tour which runs year-round in the state of Texas.

Tournament Fee: $210-$399
Application Deadline: Typically several days prior to the tournament
Practice Round: Typically the day before the tournament
Boys Divison: ages 12-18
Girls Divsion: ages 12-18
Format: 36 Holes, Stroke Play
Field Size: TBD

Championship Yardage:
Men’s Yardage: 6,400-7,100
Men’s Rating/Slope: 73.2-73.7/128-132
Women’s Yardage: 5,600-6,200
Women’s Rating/Slope: 71-71.4/122-130

MyGolfPros Tour Tidbits
* 85% of its members have received some type of collegiate or academic scholarship over the past three years
* Membership fee is $200
* Practice Round between $25-50 extra
* Membership allows you to register for all events online
* Members receive tee gifts at each events as well as gifts from Nike Golf
* Non-members are able to register for single events. They will be subject to an additional $50 and will not receive any tee gifts.
* Thanksgiving and Holiday classics often see Non-Member participation.

Entry Criteria/Exemption:
Ablility to earn AJGA Exemptions in every TJGT event. Members playing on the TJGT have more opportunities to gain AJGA status than on any other junior golf tour, other than the AJGA itself.  Follow this link to find out more.
