Canadian Junior Golf Association

The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is based out of Ontario, Canada. It has two tours as well as a NIKE Qualifier series that is unique to the Canadian junior circuit. The CJGA has two tours; the Junior Tour and the Linkster Tour. Junior golfers out of the US, Trinidad & Tobago, Scotland, England and South Africa travel to compete in any of its 10 International events.

* Junior Tour for Boys and Girls ages 11-19.
* Juniors will compete in the following age divisions: Boys 14& Under; Boys 15-19; Girls 11-19.
*Beginning golfers are encouraged to enroll in CJGA programs. There is no minimum handicap required to play, just basic rules knowledge and a love for the game.
* Linkster Tour open to Boys and Girls ages 5-13.
* All divisions are subject to longer yardages for CJGA Championship events and international qualifiers
* Linkster Tour open to Boys and Girls ages 5-13.
* Practice round must be scheduled by parent, typically around $40 and includes range balls
* CJGA members are able to utilize the “Player Services Department” for free. In doing to junior golfers can have their season schedule personally constructed to suit their goals.
* This very professionally run tour offers great competitive experience for juniors. Golfers new to the sport would benefit from gaining competitive experience in other CJGA events listed in MyGolfPros’s LEVEL 4.
* ONLY playing in the tournaments listed above will earn AJGA exemptions or credit.
