The Orange Bowl International Junior is part of the Coral Gables Junior Orange Bowl Festival. For the past 58 years the city of Coral Gables has hosted a weekend of elite juniors’ competitions in various athletic categories including (but not limited to) Boys and Girls Basketball, running, ice hockey, gymnastics, tennis. In addition, the ever evolving Orange Bowl Festival brings together students to compete in various academic categories.

Course Description:
Donald J. Ross designed the course that was originally built in 1925 and has since been restored. This is a gorgeous southern Florida course located on the luxurious grounds of the Biltmore Hotel.

* Must not have reached their 19th birthday by December 29, 2011 and not participating on a College/University team.
* There are not have age categories and there is no cut during the Championship.
* Invitations are sent in early September

Entry Criteria & Exemptions
The tournament is an invitation only event. You are eligible for an invitation (for review by the selection committee) by achieving one of the following:
Boys Winner from previous year 2010 tournament
Boys Top 32 USGA Junior
Boys US Players – Winners (18 under age group) of Junior Press Thornton – Future Masters; Rolex T of C; Polo Junior; Junior World; Thunderbird Invitational; Insurance Agent Junior; Western Jr., AJGA Boys; Doral-Publix Jr., Verison Jr Heritage; Scott Robertson Memorial, FCWT National Championship;Optimist Junior; North – South Junior; Westfield PGA Jr.;AJGA Junior All Star (12-15) Invitational winner.
Boys Top 15 Golfweek/Sagarin ranking as of August 1.
Boys Top 15 Jr. Golf Scoreboard ranking as of July 31.
Boys First team AJGA Polo All-Americans
Boys Top 5 in AJGA Rankings
Boys Foreign National Champion (Submitted by their golf federation & selected by the committee)
